Therapy close to home —
wherever that may be

Wondering Ways Therapy meets your child where they are — at home, at daycare, at the park, or wherever they thrive. Telehealth available statewide.

Where We Work

Therapy wherever your child is most themselves

We travel to you — and "you" can mean a lot of different places. Sessions happen at home, at daycare, at a neighborhood park, on the playground, or in whatever community space makes the most sense for your child. Real environments produce real results.

We serve families across eastern Kansas, from small towns along the I-70 corridor to the Johnson County suburbs. Telehealth is available as a complement or standalone option — statewide across Kansas.

Telehealth: a powerful complement to in-person work

Telehealth isn't a compromise — for many families, it's the better fit for certain goals. Parent coaching, sensory strategy sessions, fine motor activity guidance, and routine-building support are all highly effective via video.

Many families combine in-person sessions at the park or daycare with telehealth coaching at home. If you're in Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, Prairie Village, or anywhere else in Kansas, telehealth gives you expert, DIR/Floortime-informed care on your schedule.

Common Questions

Service area FAQs

Where do sessions actually take place? expand_more
We come to you — and "you" can mean wherever your child spends their time. That might be your home, their daycare, a neighborhood park, a playground, or another community space that feels natural and familiar to them. Therapy in real environments tends to generalize faster because kids are already comfortable there. Telehealth is also available for parent coaching and follow-up sessions throughout Kansas.
We're in Overland Park — do you travel that far? expand_more
Absolutely. We travel to Overland Park and throughout Johnson County for in-home sessions. For families who prefer it, telehealth is a great complement — especially for parent coaching and follow-up sessions. We'll help you figure out the right mix.
Do you accept insurance? expand_more
We are currently private pay only. We don't bill insurance directly, but we're happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Visit our Fees page for current rates, or reach out with any questions.
My city isn't on the list — can you still help? expand_more
Possibly! If you're located in Kansas, telehealth is available statewide. For in-home visits, reach out and let us know your location — we'll let you know if you fall within our travel area. We'll figure out what makes sense together.
What's the first step to getting started? expand_more
The easiest first step is booking a free discovery call. It's a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we get to know your child and your goals — and you get to ask us anything. From there, we'll recommend next steps together. Book your free call here.
